Hey

That Hoover district looks epic. You brought the convertible back from the dead. The pictures were quite nice as old machine or before the restore was old and now it's brand new.

annual visits to north canton

for me, late may seems to be me goto for visting Tom, Heather, and "hooverland" as i call it. i go there after going to "the happiest place on earth" Cedar Point in Sandusky.

i knew tom about 4 years before i met him in person last year, and him and heather treat me like family. its always fun seeing all the internal coporate stuff he's amassed over the years, enjoying and playing with his collection, and seeing the hoover plant and junking in town.

it feels "right" there to me. people are so friendly and warm in ohio a stark contrast to dfw. so much so im moving to ohio in a couple of years. itll be nice visit Tom regularly and even say hello to you John and get some more of that great pittston hospital iced tea and visit your nice home too.

Hard to believe it was a week ago already

I now have wonderful framed photos of: the main plant, the international building, the Industrial Park, AND all of the factories around the world! Simply AMAZING. well, for those who like Hoover. (Genuinely like Hoover. not saying so publicly, but honestly having no use for the brand).
These will proudly be on display in my home during the convention in Scranton.

Canvas print

They do like three big canvas pics or prints that are all the same print.
Hoover land would be pretty epic on a big 3 piece canvas print.

"--factories around the world--"

There is a wonderful architecture book of 1992 from Phaidon Press on the art deco Perivale factory that should be with every Hoover collection.
