OK - the house is on the market and I have to thin the herd.  I should have thinned the herd before this.  In any event I have some interesting machines available, some pristine, some less than pristine.  Judge for yourself.  Some of these are very rare.  Make me an offer, I'll take the best one.  Please do not start a bargaining discourse on this thread.  I you have any questions about the machines please ask.  Otherwise, if you are interested, please email me at [email protected].  I'll be adding additional machines as time goes by.  Only serious buyers over 18 yo.  First up.  A Eureka Mobile Aire Vibra Beat.  Complete but the tool caddy is a bit rough.

Next Up

A Hamilton Beach cannister.  Missing two tools - the upholtery tool and dusting brush.  If I come across them as I clean up the collection, I will send them to you.

Nice Eureka! I'm drooling.... :-)

BTW..is that the original hose? I always thought the braided hoses offered by Eureka in that era would have had a nice white stripe curving along its length in a candycane pattern, with the rest of the hose in the green or blue colour of the tools....this one seems all white.......just curious.....

You Know Greg

If you say that's where it came from, then that is probably where it came from.  So here you have it guys.  Another one of Terry's pristine machines.

Hey is there any chance you might have any filter queens you would be willing to sell. I am looking for the pinkish beige color filter queen thanks. Zach

I am interested in the model 1010 Convertible

I will send you a private email tonight when I get home from my moms Fred PAT COFFEY

It's interesting that you have two vacs that have a model number of "1010" there. If I remember correctly, the Eureka Mobile-Aire is also Model 1010. Our friends in the UK had a 220volt version of that Eureka sold as the Parnell Tenten!

Very cool coincidence for this thread! :-)

Thanks so much Fred If you ever find another one, or if you know where I could find one of those fabulous NIB filter queens I would be willing to bust out the old piggy bank if you know what I mean ;) thanks. Zach

Fred, what is that black cone looking tool with that Atlas? I just ran across that same tool in my old parts bin and didn't know what it was (oh I hope I kept it, but a lot of stuff went in the downsize)

Actually

There are a ton of machines still available.  I am going through in stages and putting them up for sale.  I have to get three rooms down to one.  From this batch two are still available:

Eureka Mobile Aire

Eureka ESP

The rest in this batch are spoken for.  I am so glad they are going to folks that appreciate them.  I have (with some wonderful help from my friends) moved the collection to the unfinished part of the basement for temporary storage while I show the house.  It is getting shown about every other day so that is good.  Here are some sneak preview shots of machines that will go up for sale.  Some of these will be kept as my core collection.  Here are the uprights.  Some of these that will be available are Dial-A-Matics and that psychedelic green Hoover.  The original Electrolux upright (brand new with box) is still available.

Some

Canisters.  I will be selling the Royal tank with PN, the Nilfisk and the Montgomery Wards Brandywine canister with PN.  Also a Filtex and Super Chief.  Just have to find all the parts to go with them.  Yikes!  How did I accumulate so much stuff?  Tania and I will have to work out what we want to do about the Roll-Easy.

And the Luxes

I will keep a core of these machines, but I have a spare AF and will probably let the R and S go along with the thrift model.  Have to find all the parts for those as well.  This process is like a cosmic douche!

Fred,

In the picture of the room of uprights, is there any chance that you'd be selling the Hoover 1070?

Sam
