VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

With the theme at this year's vacuum cleaner collectors convention being Central Vacuums, and only 20 invitations, the annual pilgrimage to the Vacuum Museum is smaller for a reason. Social distancing will be in place, But we do have 3500 square feet to display all the Central Vacuums that folks are bringing. Can't wait to hook up Mike's Viper and Drain Vac units. Chicago Mike is making us all a reusable and collectible face mask as well as the wonderful shirts commemorating This Year's Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Convention as well as all the brands of central vacs we are celebrating.

Drainvac Twin Turbo

Tolivac, glad you like the Viper, it is an awesome unit for sure. It doesn't have a utility valve built in but attaching one is very simple.
The 240 volt Drainvac model is called the Twin Turbo, I have it and it is an amazing central vacuum unit. The bags are slightly different because the intake on the bag is in a different place but they are just as large. I believe it uses two Domel motors that have six fans each. When you connect a hose directly to it, the power is incredible.

I made up a utility inlet for the Viper-used the parts that came with it!The new Schottler Reasearch "Patriot" vacuum is an amazing portable canister vacuum.Don't know what kind of motor this thing has-its power is incredible for a portable vacuum.

Shirts

You probably have to have tom talk to mike about the shirts. I have 2 dual sanitronic shirts and a d80 floor mat that's a d80. He did socks, pillows, mats, and other custom items. I wear both my shirts every week for 2 years. He is quiet in his ways but it's a shirt you would order custom for your company from a big corporation. It's not a t-shirt shop screen print.
He has been a ghost for 6 months. Tom can maybe ask him.

Well I joined the bandwagon

took down my Vacuflo 466Q that I've had for 6yrs put up a Cyclovac Constructor used that for about a year and just got a older never been used Silent Master S4 like in Reply# 18. It was easy to install just changed the piping, added some cable to start it and it works!! I'm using the Sebo ET2 power nozzle from my Felix and I don't have anything negative to say about it. Will be interesting to see how long it takes until the bag needs changing as the 466Q I only emptied once a year and it wasn't even half full and the Constructor isn't even half way full, I guess I'm not a slob!!
