This past weekend I hosted a mini-meet at my house in Tulsa, OK. Chad Cunningham came down from Kansas City. Sean and Will drove in from Texas. Phillip and his wife Shaylee drove in from Kansas. We attended the Volkswagen Car show visited, a few thrift stores and went to the local flea market. We also ate dinner at a mexican restaurant in the Blue Dome District located in downtown Tulsa. We all had a fun time!

Here I am preparing for mini-meet. Vacuuming my house with my Hoover Convertible 65 that Chad purchased for me at an estate sale. Sadly, I only have one vacuum from a family member my Classic Omega which was my grandmothers. I’m being Honest!

Hi,

Hi Kenny, I hope you had a great time. You have some very nice vacuums there.
Thank you for taking the time to take the pictures and then show them on here. It's always nice to see pictures of other collectors and their vacuum cleaners:o)

James:o)

Kenny, if you'll come and clean my house, I'll adopt you as my son, put you in my will, and disinherit my other four kids!

Glad you had fun!!!

Thanks Bill and James.

Bill I still have the G5 and use it regularly. Mini-meets are always so much fun! Although Sean Curry is one of the best hosts for mini-meets that I've have had the privilege of attending. I don't think mine turned out bad.

Sean and Will brought me a golden Lewyt, Singer S4 upright and attachments from the Amarillo haul. Sean found a Floor-A-Matic and green Hoover Decade 80 at an estate sale. And I purchased a Hoover Concept One from Phillip Muller. Thanks for the vacs Guys! I'll post some pictures of those vacs soon! Thanks to those who took vacs. I'm glad that they went to good homes!

Mini Meet In Tulsa, OK

Kenny,
What a great collection and some interesting classics.
Nice to see some well built machines and not more china plastic throw away vacuums.
Thanks for posting the pictures.

A Handsome Collection . . .

And very nicely displayed, each one on the carpet and ready to go! I especially like the turquoise Constellation, IMHO one of the best colors for that vac.

Kenny - I love your Model 65 and your other great vacuums. I hope you guys had fun!

Kenny, can you shoot a couple of photos of what appears to be a Hoover Convertible with the red plaid bag? That looks pretty unusual. Also, I don't think I've ever seen the other red/white Convertible. Red doesn't seem to be a favorite Hoover color. Thanks!

Mark and Kenny....

J.C.Penney would be my guess too, reason is, I have one with that design bag only in a butterscotchy color plaid, with matching trim and off-white hood, metal base. It is strange Hoover didn't have much in the regular red colors, maybe somebody on the board didn't like red!

Kenny, your collection has really grown since I was there, and looking great!

I like those colours I'm my memory serves me didn't they have a white & red one opposite colours of that? I think I saw one at Woolworths (a blast from the past)

Glad you had a good time. I know hosting a mini meet can be a it stressful but it is so much fun to get to see all your vacuum friends. I have had several at my house.

Kenny, I wish my mother and I could have attended. It sounds like you all had a really good time. You have a really nice collection, and it looks like you have room to expand! We will have to see your house some other time.
