Wow. I'm amazed how you take apart every vacuum. You take apart and reassemble. I get you get a knack for tearing down vacuums. There has to be a sequence you use to keep screws in order.
Mike do you just disassemble or do you get diagrams and then disassemble.
I only know you tear apart every vacuums because I see a the vacs on eBay.
Thanks
Les

THANK YOU, Mike....

You gave me some ideas where to look. I vaguely remember hearing something rattling around inside the vacuum when I was first wiping the outside down. That does not mean it was left over from being serviced or had come loose at some point during it's life. I was only checking where I, had been.

If there is some internal part that is involved in the flow of air and debris, and it is not exactly secure where it is supposed to be, then the leaking could be causing so much material to appear to have escaped the bag.

I will do more exploring and checking the tightness of fit where I can.

I really appreciate you.

Thanks Alex,

I will.

I was never able to find where these two screws came from. I am certain they were not from anywhere I dismantled for cleaning.

When I get more bags, I will do more performance tests.
