MIELE S7 bristles?

How stiff are the bristles on the brush rolls?

I am wondering if they differ from the ones in the UK..

From what experience I have with them they are very stiff.  Probably due to the thick pile on the carpets.

The bristles on my S7 are only medium stiffness, I was hoping they would be super stiff.
