Yet another new addition to my collection of Mieles. I believe this was the first model of Mieles ever sold in the US from the early 80's. Just goes to show, this Miele is nearly 30 years old, all original, and nothing is broken and it still works and will put most new vacs to shame! In my opinion, there is nothing out there that can come close to Miele in performance, quality, filtration, cleaning ability, resale value, convenience, and looks.
If I recall correctly the current Miele S4's, S5's, and S7's have 140+ CFM and all pull over 100 inches of water. I've heard some theories that the CFM rating was taken with the motor out of the vacuum? Does anybody know if this is true or not? For those of you who repair Mieles regularly, have you ever seen any issues with them besides the older cord winders?
Anybody who is a Miele owner feel free to post pics. I know Edgar has a nice collections of older Mieles. Right now I'm up to 4 of them, and I plan on adding many, many more!
Here's a couple pics of the Miele from the auction. Paid a pretty penny for it but I don't regret it at all.
