Hey everybody! I have an issue with my new pn2. There is about an inch gap between the cover and the walls separating the brushroll area and the motor and wiring.
THe cover fits snugly and correctly around the outside and neck.I took the cover off and put it back on, still the same problem. It runs, but if used, dirt is flung right into the motor. What is the problem/ How can it be fixed? THanks ahead of time!

Lane, it sounds as if your PN2 is missing it's very important roller cavity cover, which sits over the brushroll walls and is held in place when the two bottom bolts clamp the entire PN body together.
