Wow,,,at the most, that machine,as old as it is, (even tho its in good condition)is not worth more than a couple hundred,,if even that.
Sorry to say my experience with the CB machines was not real great.
We had 2 of these vacs at the trade school i went to in the late 1970s,(the new students had to help with the clean up),and
I was supprised at how poor the suction was,,,on both machines,,even when the bin was empty, and the filter was clean, the suction was not any better (and actually less) than a cannister lux of the same vintage. I remember being very supprised at the poor level of suction.
The only advantage i could see about the CB machine was that it was larger than a regular Lux, and you didnt have to change the bag. (or empty it) as often.
Im affraid these machines look alot more powerful than what they really are. They are also very clunky, and hard to drag around, seems like the cannister was always getting hung up on something, and you had to go back and un hook it everytime you turned around.
The newer 1980s models may have been more powerful than the older generation, but still way over priced, IMHO.
