Hello, I'm fairly new to this site. I'm an avid collector of Electrolux's and Kirby's. I'm looking for few Electrolux's to complete my collection. If anyone could help, that would be great!

*Electrolux Model R
*Electrolux Hospital G (I know this is very rare)
*Electrolux CA - Commercial Automatic (Again, very rare)
*Electrolux CB2000 - The big plastic commercial unit from the 80's -90's.

Thanks for your help collectors!

The Hospital G is a 'Holy Grail' type vacuum and I think they had one in all white, which is sort of a 'ghost' vacuum; supposedly out there, but have you ever seen one in the flesh? Lol.....

If you dont mind

Driving up to Mocksville, I can help you out with the Hospital G.....

Electrolux Vacs

That is a great wish list, other than the commercial CB's, I wouldn't mind having some of those myself. Like the others have said, the Hospital G is a rare bird and while they are "rarer than hen's teeth" I have seen a couple go through on eBay......now with that said, they went for a LOT of $$$, so be prepared! My suggestion is be patient, set up search parameters in eBay, Craigslist, etc. get the alerts emailed/texted to you daily, and keep your eyes on here as well. You just never know when a machine that you've been after will pop up. I actually got my "holy grail" machine from a post right here on Vacuumland. I put out an inquiry into an Electrolux Commemorative Edition, and it just so happened Tom Gasko from the Vacuum Museum in Missouri had one he was looking to sell.....one of those right place at the right time deals! Best of luck to you on finding your machines, and if you ever decide you want a teal colored, metal body CB Electrolux, let me know....I have one sitting here in the office taking up WAY too much space!

No, I can't say that I have. The closest I've ever seen to one is what Charles Lester calls "tan" on his website (see image below)....in fact, I've never had the fortune of seeing ANY hospital G in person! A good H-G is definitely on my want list.

There were only TWO models of the Hospital G. I have both, and for the right price (high dollar), either one can have a new home.

So is that the 'ghost' then...in your pic? And the other is a white canister with teal trim? You must be proud of those vacs!

Andy.....

so Lester said in his Elux piece that the second model is white, with white and brown trim. Is that the vac in Post #8? And they are rarer than the first H G that is white with turquoise trim?
