Lindhaus carpet "dry cleaning" shampoo, or equivalent.....

My Lindhaus has an option for shampooing the carpet using a "dry clean" product they sell.

Has anyone here dry-cleaned their carpet using these types of products? If so, how did you like them?

We've always had a guy come in with a traditional wet-shampooing system and are needing to clean our carpets again. I'm really interested to know how this Lindhaus system works, or any others that are dry for that matter. I might want to try it this time.

My Linhdaus power nozzle is capable of doing the same thing. Never tried it though. Give it a try and let us know. By the way, which model of Lindhaus are you using??

My model is the HealthcarePro with the 12" roller-brush. Mine's about 7 years old. I've ordered the part that fits on it to let it run the roller-brush but not suck-up anything. I might be trying it real soon and will post the results. It sure would be nice if there was a good quality dry-cleaning product that worked well. When I looked at the stuff at the vacuum store the other day, it's quite fascinating how it apparently works.
