Next, the upright
And the new Genie upright, this is one that I own and I found at a thrift store. When I found the machine it seemed like the previous owner had filled the bin with plaster, then donated it, I could not pass it up as it looked new. First, the machine has a reasonable noise level, good suction and good preformance on carpets, but what makes it for me is the fact that it has a filterless dust bin with a very efficient half hour glass bin shape which keeps the filter very clean over time. Plus great hard floor cleaning, good hose length, a very light design, a fold down handle and a very nice, soft dust brush.
