While digging through the trade in room at my local Rainbow Dealer I stumbled upon this very unique Hoover Widepath. I have seen these machines in several different colors but never one this color blue and this one was actually made in the USA unlike most machines nowdays. It was in very good shape and runs perfectly. I am amazed at how well this machine cleans carpet, you can actually feel it seal to the floor. I love all things Hoover since a Hoover Elite was the first vacuum given to me as a child. Anyone else have a machine like this? Feel free to share some pictures if so. I would love to see what other colors they had.

I have a red WidePath version. I'll post photos when my desktop PC is up and running again, or maybe I'll take some fresh photos. I do like it. It's the only Elite style machine I have. Which, though I really hate the idea of being an Elite because it is so much more than that!! I think the Widepath cleans better, has a better headlight, it's 3" wider cleaning path, has the edge groomers, filtration is better, it's sleeker. Really is a different system from 12" Elites!!

I love both color schemes above. The teal one from the original post is definitely unusual. I feel like I've seen it on eBay before but never in a store and I worked at a mall with Boscov's, Sears, Penneys, Kohls and Macys at the time these were on the market.

They do clean well

I really enjoy using mine, I do believe it works better than an elite and really does deep clean carpets well. The machine just has a nice feel to it when your vacuuming and always grooms the carpet well.
