Kitty Years?

So gave Max a bath, well shower with me, no tub here. Its normally a yeoll and scream and fight, just one or two jerks and gave up today, maybe getting too old for this. He has long hair and licks all the time, so it gets nasty. He is 15, how do kitty years count?

Is now a senior at the age of 77 at age 2 they are 25yrs then after that add 4yrs to that.

Smooth and soft today, got out so much hair and fluff, wow.Might help his hairballs now. Sure helps keep house clean

Buttons hasn't had a bath for about a year now, but as she is a short haired cat it isn't really necessary - although that said I do like to clean her at least once a year, ideally twice.

Max has been a groomer/ licker all his life and now his breath could stop a clock, so..... Its that darn undercoat that drives me nuts, so lightweight that it never seems to settle once airborne .Will not fall out of the Dyson bin either, no matter what you do. Hate that.

Of course Jamie, not sure age, I would guess 90 ish? Hoover Legacy Deminsion , got at estate sale, motor in great shape, chasis was a bit loose, had to use off brand brushroll, but she works and is easy to live with. We were never a Hoover family growing up, nobody had one, so this is later in life for me, not a memory thing.I think its a bit like your turbopowers? Set up a bit like a Concept1, with hose attached and tools.

Sorry, that was being lazy. Model U5209-930. Ser # starts out 0297. North Canton, 7.3 amp.I never can remember how to read those for date, but best guess is Feb of 97 maybe??? I hope this helps. Hard body, green

I am not overly familiar with the American Hoover models but know the one you are speaking off.  They were some of the last GOOD Hoovers I believe. Probably similar to my Turbopower 1000 yes.

Thanks, they seem to look alike, but I know that is painting a broad picture. Weak but will do hose suction, great carpet cleaning, big bag, not too loud.

My four-year-old cat has taken to jumping into the tub almost every morning as I get ready to take a shower. Of course, she jumps right back out when I turn on the water. Once or twice, she has felt kind of brave and stayed until I hit the diverter for the spray to come out of the nozzle.

The funny thing is after she makes her exit, she usually gets up on the edge of the tub on the outside of the shower curtain for me to give her a brief water massage with the shower head, which is on a hose. She apparently likes the sensation of a shower, just not getting wet.

Max has always enjoyed standint/ laying on the shower entry, and swatting at the water around the side of the curtain, getting in changes the dynamic! I had a Manx that would just climb in and shower between your legs. Never know!

Bagless pet hair....

David, I know what you're talking about having that issue. I have a shedding dog now, and had one back in the day when Fantoms were the rage. Same ole crap, you need another vacuum to suck all the dog hair out of any bagless IMHO. I've had the Fantom, a couple of Dysons, and the last one I tried was the Hoover Air Steerable(we won't even go there), and they're all gone, with the exception of a Fantom Lightening canister, and do not use it, just kept it because of it's exceptional condition and uniqueness. It's a bagged machine for me, easy-peasy, pull the old bag out, slap a new one in!
