I would like to buy the beehive bowl (or some other compatible bowl) to go with this mixer. It belongs to my mom and she has broken her bowl. I'd like to replace it for Christmas.

3 C Bowl

KitchenAide only sells a stainless steel bowl that fits 4 C mixers. I suspect the 3 C bowl is narrower and shorter than the 4 C bowl. The 3 C bowl hold 3 qts and the 4 C uses a 4 qt bowl. ebay often has glass bowls and beaters for sale for both models

Thanks for your response. Shehas tried the 4qt. stainless and the newer 5.5 qt. glass. They both fit in the bowl ring, but are too large for the mixer to actually work properly. I do check eBay often and am open to other suggestions.
