Kirby tradition bag won’t stay on ?

I got a Kirby tradition for free at a local swap meet and It has a Hoover bag on it but it came with a original bag . Is it need a clamp on it because it blows off

If the metal spring on the bottom is worn out, yes, do try the clamp method.

I have seen some with large hose clamps instead of the spring. on Omegas but normally with the spring.

Go buy a 3 inch hose clamp. If you know how to undo the clamp all the way you can put the clamp where the makeshift clamp was.
You can use a metal hanger or bailing wire.

A heritage setup is a better setup. The f&g bag cuts power output on the vacuum.
