Ironic as I just gave away that very machine, which was missing that attachment. Not one I loved, but she is very happy! My best way to recycle

I had a Dirt Devil Swivel Glide Vision from 2001 to 2004. The manual for that vacuum made a reference to the "Power Edger," but it never came with one.

I was a kid when my family owned this vacuum. It was very noisy, very heavy and REEKED, even when not being used. As a bonus, it also came with a "Swift Stick" stick vacuum, designed for easier cleaning of bare floors.

LOL Mark, as soon as I find a good machine, the Power-Edger will certainly be part of the upcoming model 557! Did I say upcoming?

The Vision is a GREAT bagless vacuum,I have 3 of them and love them! They're very well built, although I often find them with broken handle releases. That's about the only flaw, though!

That's the only flaw of the Dirt Devil, eh?! Surely you forgot about the unsealed HEPA filter, messy dirt cup filter, & upper cord hook that had a tendency to break easily. And although it's not a flaw, it did have only average suction thru the hose at best, when it had a clean dirt cup filter.

There's no such thing as a perfect vacuum, Rob! For an entry-level bagless, the vacuum is fantastic. Something had to of been wrong with yours, the last time I used mine it had great suction. I'll check on that when I get the chance, though!

Kirby Power Edger ?
Does it attach to the Handi Butler?
When will they come out with the Kirby Lawn mower?
Will it attach to the Handi Butler as well?

Will Larry the Lobster live or be stewed in his own succulent juices?

Inquiring minds want to know !!!

Inquiring minds will learn when the Department of Kirby grants us a prototype chassis. I won't say what all it does, but look-out for the HANDI-GARDENER at your local KSSRC!

P.S- ONE certain Handi-Gardener attachment will also have a HOOVER version....but on what model????

Oh and P.S- Larry the Lobster went on to turn those juices into America's next top salad dressing: 'Hidden Lobster'!

Super-sweeper nailed it. The very first thing that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread was lawn care. I mean, if you can use a Kirby as a grinder, why not an edger? Both make as much sense (meaning no sense to me). Vacuum up the trimmings as you edge.

I use the tool as a dog vacuum. The big girl loves it, the little one gets grumpy when the incredable suction of the Kirby causes her to get stuck in the hose. But more importantly, a Kirby Lawn Mower!! Count me in.

Can I just opt for the Lobster Ranch dressing?

Did you know you can also use the Handi Butler as a cuticle remover, for that perfect manicure?

What will Kirby think of next to improve our lives? The handle extends into a ladder or home repairs?
