A little over a year ago I injured by shoulder in an unfortunate roller skating accident at our annual company picnic. I was told that at my age it would take about a year to heal. It did. I am still a Royal die hard, but I enjoy using my Kirby Legend II for vacuuming the downstairs floors. There is something relaxing about the way it sounds and moves. I noticed right after my injury that my shoulder always felt much better after using the Kirby. While my Royals are definitely lighter, easier, and faster to maneuver, I believe that the weight of the Kirby forces a deliberate slower and smoother gliding motion that proved to be very therapeutic to my rotator cuff!

Mike,

I had a different therapeutic experience with vacuum cleaners over the years: as a boy, however, no vacuum's sound had appealed to me due to the way I could hear things. Then, 20 years later, when I started watching videos of people vacuuming on sites like YouTube, I knew that one day that I could experience that for myself.
