Kirby Part Numbers

Can anyone help sort out these Kirby part numbers?

Armature part #: 114960: Can this be used through the Sanitronic VII

Armature part #: 114959: Can this be used through the Sanitronic VII?



Field: 2063 575. This doesn't look like a Kirby part number. I wonder if he sent me something for a different brand. It is NOS.

To answer your first question, Kirby recommends that these two armatures be used on the following Kirby models:

114959 - to be used on models 505 to 519
114960 - to be used on models 560 to S7

More recently, however, when these two armatures went out of production they then told you to use part no. 114967 which is normally used only with the two-speed machines (Dual Sanitronic 50 and 80, or D50 and D80).

As to the second question, however, the other numbers you're finding may refer to the code numbers of said armatures, while Kirby gives its own part numbers for the same product.

Thanks, Ben, this is very helpful! The only number I find on the field is what I gave. What would be the best way to find out what models this field can be used for

You might call Kirby at 1-800-437-7170 and ask them your specific question. They might help you on such cryptic numbers you're seeing on those motor fields and armatures.
