Hi Guys, I have a favor to ask. I have only been on here a few months so I hope someone will help me out instead of me having to search the archives, lol. I used to have a printout of one of those model historys of the kirbys like electrolux has, but I lost it some time ago. I dont need it for the dates. I know the dates, I just like to have the printouts and kirby doesnt have it on their site that I can tell. I just printed off a new one from electrolux, well "Aerus"......kills my soul to call it that, lol. Anyway I think mine ended at the G4 anyway, so does anybody have one they could post for me that I could print off? Or if its already on here which thread is it? I dont know if kirby has it online or not but I cant find it. I did see one somewhere at some point but it was not clear enough or big enough to print out. Also, do any other companies have model history pictures all on one page like that? If so let me know. Rexair has some pics on their site but they are individual and its not really a history as much as the story. Also, I enjoy looking at catalog scans from sears, penneys, etc from the 60's thru the 80's. I saw the sears ones from 1976, 1978 and 1980 and I have catalogs from 1980, 1982, and 1985. One that I have always wondered if it was in a catalog was the last "square" one that used the 5033 bag that they brought back in the late 80's. It was Black, and red and gray, with gray but old style attachments and hose, cogged belt powermate, tool cover, and I think it was probably 3.9 hp. This is one of my favorites that i have wanted for years ever since I saw it in the store. If it was in a catalog would somebody please scan it for me? My favorites are Kenmore canister-pre swivel hose, Electrolux model G thru ultralux/commemorative edition (and of course the xxx and lx), Kirby pre G series, although I am very curious about all this new kirby model talk. I like most hoover, eureka, etc from the 50's thru the late 80's/early 90's. I am mostly a canister person, but I do love the eureka "f&g's" and the convertibles, dialamatics, decade, concept, etc. I nkow the kenmore question should have went into the contemporary forum but I didnt know I was going to think of it when I started this. I tend to ramble when Im bored, lol. Thanks for the help. Your new friend, Chris
