Hi Guys!

Can one of you other Kirby gurus tell me what the setup is for the Kirby Heritage with cloth dump style bag?

I recently found one in decent shape but the bag was just hanging because there was no hanger, top piece, or "hook" from which to hang. A picture would be good if you have one. Though I have the bagged versions, I do not have the dump style version so I have no reference point from which to start. So to recap, I need to know what the components are for when you have the cloth dump style dump bag.

No...

No... it doesn't have that topper. It had nothing on the bag. I did see a two-finger hook type thing on ebay. But it didn't look like the topper you mentioned.

There is something like a "two-finger hook" inside the topper I linked. I think the topper should have everything you need.

I want that bag for my Heritage II, I dont care for the look of the stock Heritage bag, thinkking that bag would really pop on that machine

Thanks Guys!

I think you all helped me figure this one out! It is the same set up as the disposable bag setup. I don't know what Kirby was thinking of when they came up with that style bag topper. Many times they pop off of the bracket when in use. And it seems like a very awkward way to attach the bag as opposed to the older style simple hooks and chains.

My Heritage II has a hook like that on it, and it always hangs crooked and downward. I originally thought the hook was bent. I guess they were trying to improve airflow by stretching out the bag so that debris wouldn't collect around the inlet and choke off the airflow (whether on the shake out or paper bag).
