Have you tried looking on ebay? I have a vintage Kirby too and that is where I found my set of attachments. I see boxes of Kirby attachments come up for sale there on a fairly regular basis. You might want to do a search there if you haven't already. If you can't find what you want, just keep trying every few days or so, eventually what you want will turn up. Good luck!
