I thought seen as the Black diamond featured in a recent thread I would post some to-date photo's of it here. I brought it a few years ago (I think 2015) after seeing it advertised for sale I instantly wanted it so I brought it and had it shipped over here to the UK, Chicago Mike did a fantastic job in creating it and i'm trying to keep't in the excellent condition it is, I don't use it that often but from time to time I will get it out and use it mainly for the upstairs.
After seeing it mentioned in a recent thread I thought I'd get it out and take some up-to-date photo's as I only have a couple of it anyway..
So here they are...

Hmm

Hey thanks for letting us know who owns it.
I like heritage legends but this is the coolest 16" vacuum I've seen. I don't even have to ask the price but it's one of a kind.
You like it as you had it 5 years and it's still mint.
I didn't ask Mike to use his photo but in the past I've used his photo to show specific vacuums. It shows his talent and creativity.
The red in black is 505 esque.

Edit could you take a pic of the model plate on the bottom of the vacuum please?

Lesinutah Here you go top and bottom photo's, Mike has got an exceptional talent and he's created some very unique Kirby's, every single one I have seen I have loved the look of, I'm lucky to be able to own just one of these unique Kirby's.
Regards Craig.

This was a perfect model to do this resto on

Truly a timeless piece, what a beauty. I'm betting a DS50/80 or 562 would really look sharp as well.Good that you run it once in a while to keep the bearings from caking up etc. That you still get a thrill looking at and using it says it all, enjoy!
