Looked at a old thread that converting the G3 through Avalir was a bad Idea and Keeler's website called Affordable vac is down.

I did a quick search of Kirby bagless Conversion and a new site called Captain Products is up also, they have a YouTube channel with 2 videos trying to sell the Bagless Conversion. Funny thing is the Comments are disabled. Anyway what are you're Guys and Gals thought on The same design but different name?

Finally was able to see the Captain Products--same thing as the Keeler device.WHY would you want to go thru the trouble of this bagless device?????So MUCH easier and better to replace the HEPA type Kirby bag. With this silly device you have to clean the filter by hand--WHAT A MESS!!!With the bag-you get a NEW "Filter" each time you replace the bag----again--POINTLESS-SILLY device!

From the videos--this thing,if I am not mistaken--looks like the bagless canister and filter from a bagless Eureka upright-Am I right on my guess-the thing just has the Kirby hose connector on it so it could be fitted on the Kirby. The green cap made me think Eureka bagless upright bin.

The bin and filter are from a Eureka Optima. On neither the Eureka nor the Kirby, does this set up work "properly". All this set up would do is to reduce airflow to almost nothing. Complete waste of money. The Kirby HEPA bags allow the machine to work correctly and keep airflow at maximum for the longest amount of time.

And you don't choke on the dust and dirt you just picked up when dumping that bagless contraption!Kirby HEPA Filtrete bags rule over that dumb bagless convertor!Remember with the Kirby bagged system-you have DOUBLE filtration-the disposable inner bag and the outer one.You won't get that level of filtration with that bagless thing. In the video notice how the Kirby isn't set to the right height---I hear the brushroll stalling from the nozzle set to low on the floor being vacuumed-neither the bag or bagless thing is going to work right unless the Kirby nozzle height is set correctly.
