Kirby 517 Parts

I just received a nice Kirby 517 for free. My question is how easy are parts to find for these? Such as the brushroll...it seems a little stiff.

Go to Kirby Needs on eBay. They have plenty of Kirby parts. Goodvac.com has parts, too.

You can buy a new brush roll as either part no. 1525 (single bristle) or no. 500505 (double bristle).

Are there any other specific parts you want to obtain?

I believe thats the only part i may need. It was rebuilt at some point. It runs very well.
