Kirby 510 That Sounds Like a Later 500 Series

Does anyone know how this particular Kirby 510's motor came to sound like one of the later 500 series (515 to 562)?

I would suspect maybe a new field (#103960) and armature (#114960, 114967). Any other Kirby experts have any ideas, particularly Chuck Lester?

I've used a 513 with a newer fan, a Classic fan I believe, and it sounded like a completely different machine.

How many people were able to fit the #1190 fan where the #1189 fan used to be?

Hi,

Here is a Kirby 515 with what appears to sound like a #1190 fan, but, can anyone else confirm this on a 515 whose fan was never changed?
