Now.. I know it has original parts to a 513-515 and a fan from a 515. The rear wheels are reversed, it has a black emtor tray, no tag, it has a 516+ belt lifter, and none of the pre-515 models came with a bag guard. Plus the bag is zip-tied. This makes me think it is a rebuild/restoration.
If you look, the 513-515 models never had a headlight socket that clipped into the bracket, it was streamlined to one metal piece. The 509 had one of these brackets as far as I know. It is also stamped, in the Kirby number font, between the rear wheels with the numbers 495. I'm guessing 1949.
At the least, it would be a great source of rare parts for other models.
