Just scored this Kenmore special edition canister vacuum cleaner for 50$ works good needs a hose but connection is good motor is good .

Nice score! See if you can find the PowerMate for it, those Kenmore/Panasonic pn's are really good. I will say, I rate it one of the best canister pn's ever produced in fact.

Buy some aftermarket Kenmore Q HEPA Cloth bags after the paper bags are used up....only downside to these is having the HEPA Filter on the exhaust is a joke as they are so poorly sealed.

i need a hose as mine is damaged near the canister duct tape fix that . Motor sounds good too love the long hose.

i order a new tested hose for it should have it in 2 weeks or so she works goooood the suction air flow is amazing and quiet i love this vac

This is a very nice vacuum. I had one but never got a power nozzle for it. It is a vacuum I'd buy.

Antoine, if you keep it, don't get rid of the old hose! That hose handle design is easier to use than the gray one with the black slider they used in the 80s and 90s. If anything ever happens to the handle on the new one you bought, you can swap the handle over to it, the 3 way switch in the handle is identical on both hose handle styles.

Also, you can repair that split in your hose by putting a heat shrink tubing cuff on it....just put it on and use a hair dryer to shrink it in place. Will seal it right up.
