As for me, I love a bottom freezer. The first I recall was a General Electric, about 1960, baby blue with shelves that were able to swing out. The freezer was massive, and rolled out, and if I recall correctly there was a foot lever that opened the main door. But the best thing was that everything in the main refrigerator was at your fingertips.
In later years I got an Amana with a bottom freezer, but it didn't have the drawer, opened a standard fridge/freezer.
