According to the National Day Calendaer, today happens to be celebrating doing laundry. Interesting, it said it used to be on September 15th. Anyways, I'm just curious if anybody ever did laundry today and what machines you used? I just did a quick wash on some towels I've used to do a 6 month annual cleanout in my hot tub and I've washed them in my LG front loader. This is the fourth washer and fifth dryer the house has been through since 1991. The first one was a GE Filter-Flo set, later brought them up to our first cabin in 1995 and left them behind when we sold the place in 2003. The second one that replaced the FF was another GE top loader but referred to as the model "T", also later brought that up to our last cabin in 2004 as the second set since we had two washers and dryers up there. The third set was a Maytag Neptune front loader that replaced the T, it was originally either the Neptune or the Whirlpool Duet front loader set we bought at the same time that was going to our house and the other set up at the last cabin so we chose to keep the Neptune here and brought the Duet at the cabin. Of course we also left behind the T and Duet set when we sold that place in 2007. In 2014, the dryer's motor went bad and opted to replace it so we bought an LG. And finally, in 2019 the washer's bearing went bad and also opted to replace it so we replaced it with this LG front loader. The matching dryer was bought shortly later when my sister needed a new dryer so we gave our other LG to her. Overall, this has been the best set I've used in this house. I also personally own a Kenmore 90 Series top loader and a basic Whirlpool made Estate dryer that I keep elsewhere.
