Today I thought I would use some machines that have sat Idle for some time now. The DAM pictures below *is* a frequently used machine, but it's too good not to use!

First I vacuumed all the bedroom carpets with my HOOVER 1110 Dial-A-Matic. I rebuilt This one's motor recently so I have been on a "kick" of using it.

Finally I dusted, swept the Stairs, and vacuumed all the upholstered furniture with my HOOVER Porta-Power Office Cleaner. This is the ONLY vintage vacuum I ever got NIB, it was left behind by some former remnants in a property my Father manages. The motor and bag chamber are Spotless, it's only ever had Genuine Green HOOVER paper bags run in it.

Nice

Love all your Hover great machine in great shape i would love A Dialamatic my self looking for one my fav hoover is the celebrity canister hads one as a kid

Thank you! The motor on that one was a total nightmare...the carbon brushes were shot, and the armature had rusted into the ball bearing. I had a new HOOVER decal made to run up and down the front, but I have yet to put it on.
The Celebrity is one of Hoover's finest canisters, along with the Constellation and the Dimension 1000.

vacerator.....

You are spot on about Grizelda. "Desperate Living", is probably my favorite John Waters film. I like them all but some of those scenes are just wonderful! I've been to a few places that have reminded me of Mortville and met some people that seemed like they stepped out of the movie.

Hi Air-WayCharlie!
I thought I would let you know that I'm still madly in love with that HOOVER 150. I opened up the motor today to clean out the excess carbon dust and It smells much cleaner now.
Thanks! Have a good one!
Andy
