Isn't it just.. Beautiful?! :-)

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Well the Felix is the vacuum used as the icon for contemporary vacuums on this site, among other things they are one of the most popular bagged vacuums you can buy in Europe, but yes you do have a right of course to dislike or like something, but to say the felix is not a good vacuum is stretching it.

I don't know. I have kitchen carpet between the kitchen and hallway and in the lounge plush carpet that is around 0.8 inches deep and it copes brilliantly, but each to their own.

This is even more beautiful

Reports of our death have been greatly exaggerated...

I am an American who has lived, and worked in the education systems, in France , Belgium , and the UK, I will tell you that each country has their positive and negative attributes, but there is no place like home.
Let us not hate, we are all allies after all!

I thought this was a site for discussing vacuum cleaners?

But as you mentioned it Stan could you explain in what way is the US a better democracy than the UK? The UK that has the oldest democracy that many countries around the world followed and have benefited from.

You should be grateful to the British as we showed you the way to go and gave you our great language and much more!

And Danny boy.... Dyson, Numatic,Sebo, Miele, Vorwerk,Nilfisk, Sirena, Vax,Hoover I'm sure I've missed a few.

How many American vacs have been sold in the UK in the past few years? Not that many I'd say. How many Dysons have been sold in the US? :-)

...And while we are all solving the world's problems, its mints are just printing more worthless money. In the 30s they had more sense, and on top of that it took a world war to get out of a depression.

Whatever you do, boys, don't burn your draft cards just yet, because you'll be needing it real soon!

On the Vorwerk I have never liked anything they made after the vk122. I think they lost the plot on their newer machines. I have owned all of them up to the Vk 140 which is were i stopped buying.
My biggest gripe with Vorwek in generaly was the hose set up. Its to short and you cannot use the hose without having to hold the machine or carry it with the shoulder strap. This was do able with the Vk115 to vk117 with ease , still ok with the vk120 to vk122 But very difficult with the bulcky 130 to 140 designs. It also means its impossble to properly clean your car( something I enjoy doing ) Without haveing the machinw in the car with you scratcing up your interior.

I remember when they showed me the dust collector for vacuuming up dust while drilling. Very clever till you realise that you have to have the machine strapped to your shoulder holding the pipe in one hand and a drill in the other, mmm, Someone didnt think about this, all this while possibly ballancing on a chair or ladder.
