Does the bag look original to you?

Also what would you say the rarity of this machine is?
NEVER seen one with these colors.

I think that is original to the best of my knowledge of Eurekas. After they cheapened them and went to the plastic handles, their bags got more generic looking with just a plain printed logo.

Brandon....that's a mid 1980's Eureka Dial-A-Nap - same era as the Eureka ultra and Eureka Express canister. When Sweden's Electrolux bought Eureka in 1974, they began a process of rebranding that dropped the famous Eureka Williams graphic with the famous Eureka curvey "E". The first replacement graphic was the "Eureka" you see on this vac - all block letters and no other symbol. A few years later the company slanted the letters a bit. My parents bought me my very own Dial-A-Nap upright when I moved out of the house in 1982....and it still had the old Eureka Williams graphic and symbol - so yours must be from right after that.

Looks original to me. This model is from the late 80's and I remember these still being sold at Target as late as 1990/91 for like 69.99. One question though, is it just me or is the Eureka lettering on the bag and where the dial a nap is backward???? It looks like the lettering should be on the right side of the bag. Just curious.

This is

an original Eureka Model 1432. It may have a letter behind the model number indicating an engineering change. I have the exact model that is a 1432A. The were entry level sold at discount stores for the most part. The pic appears to be backwards in the post. It is a great vac and works well at carpet cleaning.
