Its not as rare as the other ones clements made, but it is hard to find. It is a blower/vacuum. Yours appears to be made in the 60s, although they still make them now. How much does he want for it?

That stinks, thats a great deal. If i were you, I would check to see if there are any leftovers by the dumpster in the next couple days. Just in case.

It's an industrial blower / vacuum. tbh, I'm not really sure why any industry needs a $1000 electric leaf blower, but given that they've been selling them for over 100 years, somebody keeps buying them. Also, because they cost so much new, people like to list them on ebay for $500 or so, even when they're in crap condition. They never seem to sell. I wonder why >_>

Also, also, the people running the company now are a bunch of a-holes. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hmm

The item in picture looks rough. If it's a 60 year old blower vacuum I'd pass. If anyone used it for an extended period of time you have to imagine it's been rode hard put away wet. I have a Toro 2015 version in plastic and it's impellor is metal. It doesn't suck much or blow. I have 2 backpack leaf blowers that move leaves.
If it were a vacuum it's desirable. Blower vacuum you may be lucky it's gone as it's been beat up. You would need replacement parts and you couldn't find any.
Id stick to vacuums and not yard equipment.

Just go back there and ask if they still have it. Don't just assume that once a sale ends it's gone that day. It's likely still sitting in the garage if you want it that badly. I can't imagine anyone would buy it.

Husyvacs

I saw the vacuum listed on an estate sale website but the sale had already ended.
I did contact the people running the sale...they responded back that it was gone
and that anything that didn't sell went in to a dumpster and was hauled away.
It doesn't really fit my collection but I thought it was unusual.
