Is The new Hoover Velocity the same as a Vax Air in UK

I see the Hoover Velocity got a best buy in Which magazine, But I have noticed when I examined the machine it was the same as one of the Vax Air Home, made in China sadly and some cosmetic changes

I doubt it is the same vacuum. Hoover Europe is not owned by the same company as Hoover USA. Europe's Hoover is owned by Italy's Candy and America's Hoover is owned by Hong Kong's Techtronic Industries (TTI).

Oh...most importantly! Europe's Vax is also owned by TTI. So it is more likely that you will find Vax vacuums that are similar to America's Hoover vacs.

I think although Hoover Europe is owned by Candy I think the machine still be made in the same factory
