Tyler, you might try renaming the thread in order to get more (or different) views.  Also, I'm sure you're keep your eye on Ebay.  Something cheap may pop on there!  You'll come across something!

Hey there vacuumman. This is Nathan, electrolux-dude. I live in Canyon, Texas, and I have an old shell from an old Compact C-7 model you can have. It appears to be in good shape. I will be driving through Fritch the middle of this week and perhaps can meet up with you at the Lowe's grocery store in the afternoon on this coming Wednesday, October 17, 2012.
