I've been a member of eBay since 1998, with 100% perfect feedback.
Previously, when a buyer made a purchase from an eBay seller, the funds would be immediately deposited in the seller's linked bank or credit account and, later, in seller's PayPal account.
I hadn't sold anything on eBay for a year or so. I listed something last week and it all went smoothly, until I found out that eBay changed their policy and now will not release funds to sellers until items are received by buyers!!
However, shipping charges are imposed up-front, meaning sellers are out-of-pocket for them until transactions are approved.
This really, really sucks. It's the last thing I'll ever sell on eBay.
