I want to trade some of my vacuums for a newer Rainbow e2.

I have two Rainbow SE vacuums both with power nozzles. I also have a Rainbow D3 vacuum in excellent working condition and a Hyla GST water filtration vacuum. I want a newer Rainbow e2 vacuum and I'm willing to trade both the Rainbow D3 and one of the Rainbow SE vacuums for a Rainbow e2 or I'll trade the Hyla GST vacuum for a Rainbow e2. What are your thoughts on this? Would you trade the Hyla GST for a Rainbow e2?

Hyla for a Rainbow E2--NO!!!Have a Hyla--the Rainbow is worlds better in quality!The Hyla I have came from the Rainbow dealer here-was a trade in towards a Rainbow E2 series machine.

Assuming you are talking about the newest model E2. Your best bet is to scour craigslist and try and get one there if you can't afford it at full price. Still isn't going to be cheap. I don't think you'll find many takers. A fully rebuilt SE (by Rainbow certified tech at out local office) and a D3 combined would cost less than a refurbed E2, and the refurbed E2 runs about what they do on craigslist unless you are lucky but you get your warranty. I'd personally sell the Hyla and D3 keep the SE and use the proceeds towards the new one.

Yes,was referring to the newer E2 models.The Rainbow dealer said the customer liked the new Rainbow over the Hyla and gladly traded it in!I got the Hyla for my collection.Tried the Hyla once-like the Rainbow MUCH better!

I wasn't actually talking about the newest rainbow e2. Those are expensive! Maybe one day! Lol I would be happy with the gold series e2. Would it be possible to trade the Hyla and one of my Rainbow SE vacuums in for a gold rainbow e2?

Depending on your dealer you might get a good trade up towards a gold on the SE.
