Hey guys they won't let me post this on a place where this would go with the topic but i'll publish it here sorry about that. I'm new here, So yeah anyways i'm here to say first thing i want a FANTOM THUNDER in good condition that WORKS, and SOUNDS REALLY GOOD, and i will be willing to pay $50 MAXIMUM that's all please notify me if you have one as soon as possible i wanted one ever since the age of 9 i live in Ammon Idaho and i want free shipping you don't know how much this Fantom means to me i love them so much. I saw this video by DestructionFun1 and this video he uploaded was called "Another vacuum test" so i saw this vacuum and it was a Fantom Thunder so i wanted one so bad. So i just thought i'd say what he did in the video he sucked up water with the wand he filled it up half-way then dumped it out then he sucked it up till it filled and then it started to pump out water from the motor. But i just wanted to tell you guys i want one REALLY REALLY bad so bad guys i'm pretty crazy over them. I wanted one really bad since 9 and i'm 13 now so that would be 4 years and never got a single thing just no luck at all for some reason it started to make me cry a little bit because i wanted one so bad so if you guys could help me out please do so as soon as possible please this means so much to me ALOT anyways i'm going to say this again i live in Ammon Idaho my address is 3490 Rawson ST and i'm just sayin' i want it to be in GOOD CONDITION, and it RUNS GOOD, HAS GOOD BELT & BRUSHROLL, but if it does have a bad belt or is scuffed up alot or a little give it to me anyway still but just please make sure it works and sounds good and packaged nicely please that's the main thing but thanks for listing and have a good day =)

Must be nice to want something isn't it, I mean especially with free shipping!!
sadly someone WON'T just give you something that you want especially with free shipping. that machine is kinda big and bulky and will require some packing. shipping an item such as this will be close to your asking price. now if you would like to try, check ebay and I am sure that you might be able to find something close to your range. shipping will probably run you something too so save up your pennies.

hope all is well

SOME of us will ...

"sadly someone WON'T just give you something that you want especially with free shipping. that machine is kinda big and bulky and will require some packing."

I would.

I have a Fantom Thunder that's still in perfect working order that I need to get rid of, but I want it to go to a good home. Frankly, knowing that someone would love it is worth far more to me than the couple hundred bucks I might be able to get for it.

That being said, it IS big, bulky, and heavy. It doesn't disassemble. And I live in Manhattan. Without a car. Shipping it to someone involves buying a big enough box and packing material -- and dragging it through the streets of Manhattan up to my apartment -- then packing that sucker -- then CARRYING it 23 blocks to the UPS store.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

The unit is free to anyone who shows up IN PERSON to pick it up.

It's largely a New York thing. We don't have cars. We don't have garages or yards for tag sales. And logistically, just getting around is such a hassle that even selling stuff on eBay turns into a major pain in the ass.

I've GIVEN away so much furniture and stuff over the years, mostly because it's worth it to me just for people to come pick it up.

Guess some folks want somethin for nothin!Afraid YOU will have to do some legwork to make your wish!!Vacuums WON'T come to you- Its like deer hunting-you have to look for them!!If you want your Fantom--You will have to go out and look for one!

NYCWriter-Know what you mean-when I used to live in the WashDC area in the 70's and 80's I didn't have a car, either.Would do the traveling by walking, bus, subway, train or cab.shipping an object like a vacuum is difficult or impossible in those conditions.I used to sell stuff in those days and folks did come to my home to see,buy and pick it up-mostly Hi-Fi gear. The Hi-Fi,furniture and other places used to delivor my things or ship them.So not having a car has its advantages and disadvantages-since I have moved to the country-now a car is essentual-no more buses, subway, train,or cab to take you on errands or to work.I now have a car.Can fully understand "Big City Boys" not having cars--where to park them, traffic, insurance, and so on.

Wish I could help you out but shipping would cost probably $50. I have maybe 15 Thunders, Destiny 11 & 12 amp models ranging from good runners to nearly new. However if you or your family passes through the Buffalo area drop me an email.
