Look at this. Tom Gasko is being a awesome friend and sent me teh scans of the actual 50th Golden Jubilee manual. Not only are they spending 3,250 bucks and there not even getting a 50th Jubilee. So look below tell me what that is??

ha

your right. good catch.

someone really wants that lux though. AND someone is going to be $3,000 richer than they would ever think they could sell this for.

The guy probably thought $500 max. But not its $3,250. He is probably partying right now!

Ok I'm confused.. When I look at the vacuum in the Ebay ad the power nozzle has the Jubilee decal and the vacuum has the Jubilee decal and the box says Jubilee.. So why is it not a Jubilee?

There were 2 Jubilees the Golden which was the 50th anniversarry then the Jubilee was made between it and the Super J.

Further more it just proves that it has the wrong hose. Why buy a NIB complete when its on 3/4th complete

Please post the rest of the pictures in the manual, especially those showing the hose and attachments etc.

Told us so...what exactly? I'm confused...

We're all agreed the price is insane even if the damn thing has serial number X-00002-X, was shrinkwrapped & sealed at the factory and never opened. Why do you say that 'there' not even getting a Golden 50th Jubilee? If you've got a point to make you'll have to be more clear for the dullards among us.

What I see in the B&W Page 3 you've posted matches the 50th (Diamond Anniversary) Golden Jubilee Model 1205 in the Ebay auction in almost every aspect, with one major identified difference and a few extra bits tossed in. Blue 50th Jubilee medallions on Vac and PN, direct connect hose - possibly from the SuperJ - to the PN wand and a box labeled 50th Jubilee Model printed on gold.

Only the hose handle in your scan appears different in that it's showing plain chrome but that could conceivably be a photo of the pre-production prototype, a common situation in manuals during model changes. That same direct connect hose in greenish blue/white double tracer with the 2 pin socket mount where the chrome swivel handle terminates was introduced on the late version Blue 1205. That would explain the familiar hoses in the Ebay ad confirming what Terry and David have already posted in Thread 5761 about its availability.

But the picture below does show the power hose you speak of. No doubt the pigtailed versions failed, were discontinued and owners had the direct connect coupler installed on the original hose or exchanged them for the Super J style.

"So look below tell me what that is??"

Besides being an embarrassing reminder of 1970s fashion sense, that is an Electrolux 50th Jubilee Model Deluxe vacuum Cleaner, probably in sparkly gold textured enamel ...like the one on Ebay. With Super J hoses - so what?

Electrolux

Like all other vacuum manufacturers Electrolux had a constant stream of changing parts based upon what inventory was available. Just check out the various variations of the XXX over the years. The machine on ebay looks genuine enough to me. Enough to bid on but not enough to pay that price! Don't be so quick to pass judgement. I bought a brand new Super J with the pistol grip and PN-4 as well as an all-original 1205 with a PN-2. This machine is a perfect fit between the two. I would be willing to bet on it.

Dave a orignal Golden Jubilee hose is extremly rare. Tom has 2 one in excellent condition. They are very hard to find. Dave did you ever think that the original hose means something. If it was never taken out of the box then why is there a super J hose.

For everybody who doesnt know. THE GREY BOX IS FOR A SANI WAY. THE LITTLE METAL TUBE IS A DEMOTHER. IT IS TO SECTIONS PUSHED TOGETHER YOU WOULD PUT IN THE EXHAUST AND VAPORIZE THEM IN YOUR CLOSET.

Dave why would they have that and the instructions on how to use and set up the pig tail connection when they would use direct connect? I would put up the other picturers but no matter what I do on adobe its almost impossible to post them.
It wouldnt make sense.

Can I see a show of hands who will give me 3250 bucks and I will give you a Aerus Guardian with a after market hose???? Oh I will give you a NIB XXX without the power plant.

Oh my Fred so going against Tom again. Thats sad.(shaking head) So if I email you the imgage you will post it for me I guess?

I have tried on adobe It wont upload it says its to large. I have tried cropping and resizing it. Nothing
