Told us so...what exactly? I'm confused...
We're all agreed the price is insane even if the damn thing has serial number X-00002-X, was shrinkwrapped & sealed at the factory and never opened. Why do you say that 'there' not even getting a Golden 50th Jubilee? If you've got a point to make you'll have to be more clear for the dullards among us.
What I see in the B&W Page 3 you've posted matches the 50th (Diamond Anniversary) Golden Jubilee Model 1205 in the Ebay auction in almost every aspect, with one major identified difference and a few extra bits tossed in. Blue 50th Jubilee medallions on Vac and PN, direct connect hose - possibly from the SuperJ - to the PN wand and a box labeled 50th Jubilee Model printed on gold.
Only the hose handle in your scan appears different in that it's showing plain chrome but that could conceivably be a photo of the pre-production prototype, a common situation in manuals during model changes. That same direct connect hose in greenish blue/white double tracer with the 2 pin socket mount where the chrome swivel handle terminates was introduced on the late version Blue 1205. That would explain the familiar hoses in the Ebay ad confirming what Terry and David have already posted in Thread 5761 about its availability.
But the picture below does show the power hose you speak of. No doubt the pigtailed versions failed, were discontinued and owners had the direct connect coupler installed on the original hose or exchanged them for the Super J style.
"So look below tell me what that is??"
Besides being an embarrassing reminder of 1970s fashion sense, that is an Electrolux 50th Jubilee Model Deluxe vacuum Cleaner, probably in sparkly gold textured enamel ...like the one on Ebay. With Super J hoses - so what?
