Phillip,

Wow!! Another great restoration!!!

You and Rick (Crevicetool) need to get together, you both do great work.

Both machines you have redone look great. Do you rebuild the motors, brushrolls, ect. in the process as well?

Re-birth

Another nice job Phillip! I'll never cringe again when you start throwing banged up convertibles in my trunk, knowing that you can give them a "new" life! Looks like you may have to come back and go pile diving again at our favorite haunt!

Rick

hey Morgan, sometimes I rebuild the motors as well. The 34 and 33 that I painted had already been serviced a little by Chris at CS vacuum and they sounded great to me so I left them alone.
Alan,
The dogs you see are some of my children, The white one is my pug named little Champ, the black Lab is named Rascal and in the second pic is my 20 year old cat named Ba-cindy. I have another male pug named Pugsley. As far as the floor goes, my mom laid that tile in 1967 and when we remodel the kitchen that is going to be redone. I love the 60-70's look but I NEED a change. I am just waiting on my vacuum room to get finished first. I can't wait to show you all pics of the room and of my personal collection.

A new project in the making

I have a new project getting ready to launch. I have never painted plastic before but I need to start sometime. I have a convertible 67 that has a horrible white replacement hood that is in great shape but UGLY!!!!!! I will have to try and find a perfect match with the light pinkish color. I will keep you all posted.

p.s here is a better picture of my pugs. They don't like to have the pics taken as well as my little girls (pug also) that passed on a while back. They were such a ham for the camera.

Beautiful 33, Phillip!!

Congratulations on another job well done!! I'm a little "gun-shy" about painting, though. I painted my first car when I was a teenager and it didn't turn out so good. But you and Rick really have the knack for it and as Morgan said, you both do excellent work!!
