Three months ago I got zapped by my Kirby 519, I originally I though it was the field so I ordered a new field. When I opened up the motor I found out it was a cut headlight wire so I put on heat shrink on the cut wires and rerouted them and installed the new field and I was going to replace the armature with a new one but I kept the original one in it because it had hardly any miles on it. Now the vacuum runs like new.
