I bought this from Jimmy a while back. Its dated 1974 serial number 442 and I have a Regina canister also from the same year that need the power nozzle. All I need now is the electric hose. It will make a nice disply piece. The motor works just fine and didn't need any service. This is thw first Brush N Beat pn I've ever seen in person. I always thought they were a direct air power nozzle (like the Don Clark Hamilton Beach and Eureka nozzles for Air-Way) since the upright was direct air but it doesn't have its own fan. Just a dirt passage right to the wand.

WOW!

Great find, Philip! That would be pretty rare to find these days, especially in as good condition this Regina PN is in. Do you think it is possible to add a direct-air fan to the PN & make it a Tandem Air canister system? And if you don't mind, please show off the bottom plate, brushroll & rating plate, please :-)

I had more pics of it but my modem runs through my blackberry and this thing won't let me upload anymore. The same thing happened last night when I tried to email the pics. I hate blackberry, never get one!!

So anyhow I'm very please with this power nozzle

A Brush and Beat!

At least that is what they called the upright version, I remember these at Iveys in Charlotte when I was a kid, Brendles also carried them, they are great performers!

If yours is the VPH6 (Like the one I have - pic below) it didnt come with the power hose. Just a hose cord. I have seen other models with a power hose though.
