Could you post a pic of the height adjuster on your Sanitaire. I have 2 different adjusters.
I tried emailing but my phone wouldn't send it.

Here you go...

Below are two photos of my height adjuster. The first is in situ and the other is removed and inverted. As the decal indicates, it is a four-position selector.
