Presenting The 1955 Kenmore KenMaid. It cost $169, which was $100 more than an Electrolux at the same time in history. It came with its own cherry cabinet to roll the machine into. The glory of this vacuum is that everything you need is always with you all the time. Imagine cleaning a large 3000 square-foot plus house. This machine would have been a lifesaver for the maid. One of my favorite machines in my collection. Thank you to my good friend Hans Craig for gifting me the machine and the original hose. I use it hooked up to the Riccar battery-powered power nozzle. It is quiet and powerful and runs like the day it came out of the factory.
