how to fix loose Kirby emptors

Hello today I reassembled my Kirby classic 3 and the emptor goes on extremely loose and is so loose you can wiggle it and turn with no effort how can this be fixed what causes this

The rubber gasket ring at the opening needs to be replaced. It apparently is worn.

It doesn't appear to be to worn just pop it back in? What adhesive should be used?

You can 'pop it in' until you get some fancy glue, that's how my Classic 1-CR is still going!
