I vacuum once a day unless it needs cleaning again later that day

I tend to average about three times a day.  My family's two dogs sleep in the living room, and drag in huge amounts of dirt from the backyard, especially since we've laid down a new layer of wood chips.  It's gotten to the point where if I don't shampoo the carpet every two weeks, the carpet turns a light brown. Cleanin' all day long!

At my dad's house I vacuum once a day-once every two days. I normally vacuum my mom's house 3-4 times a week (because I'm at my dad's house most of the time). I do have to vacuum the 1st floor at my mom's house twice a day sometimes when I'm there because of my dogs.

Usually I prefer to vacuum every day or every other day, but my Mom takes long naps so I don't have a whole lot of time

There was a time when I was little that my dad worked at night so he slept during most of the day and I wasn't allowed to vacuum while he was sleeping. But I do remember that I would wake up early sometimes before school to vacuum (after both my parents were awake, of course).
