Hello. This is my first post.
The motor on my Electrolux Renaissance C104A from 1995 just burnt up. It started making a "howling" noise and then I smelled burning and saw a small wisp of smoke come from the machine.
Although I do have an Aerus dealer in the area, I would like to replace it myself to save some money. While I'm somewhat handy, I can't figure out how to get the grey bumpers off of the sides to get the canister open. There are videos and pictures online that show how to get the bumpers off of other plastic canisters, but not the Renaissance-specific style.
Does anyone know how to do this, or can anyone provide a link that shows how to do this?
Thank you.
