Justin,
Thanks for sharing and it makes my point even more valid.
Some folks here are far to critical and think they have to parent everyone and everything that happens here. Every situation is different. In your case a medical condition may prevent you from normal activities. For me, I would much rather read one or two lines of text and move forward. Some of what is written is page after page...get to point...tell the story and move on. I don't have time to read a book.
Unless something is totally disrespectful or breaks the forum guidelines, myself and the board are not going to complain. We all need to be respectful of everyone who posts on Vacuumland. Adults as well as children, members as well as visitors to this site.
As Terry Lattz would say "why is it so hard to read something and move on, why does everyone think they need to comment on everything, why is spelling, sentence structure such a big deal...I retired from teaching and I am not grading papers anymore!" "Why is it so hard to let others have a conversation that is different from ours, read it move on" If Terry told me this once he told me a hundred times...
Perhaps because I work with the public, I see all types of problems everyday, the small stuff is not going to get me down. I live my life as I think I would want to be treated by others...I wish we could all do the same and stop being to judgmental.
