My mum found a 1985 copy of the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, and in it was this picture! The hotpoint place is long gone in Deeping now, and in Peterborough, where it is now Indiset.
My grandparents have fond memories of going dancing at the Hotpoint social club, I vaguely remember going as a kid.
There was a 1919 copy of the Telegraph there too but sadly no vacuum related ads there!
